Moar gaming!

So today I tried to record a video to upload to YouTube, not the easiest thing in the world... It took me 30 minutes to figure out how to work the recording things, and then another hour of me sat there gradually running out of ideas of what to say. It's ridiculous, if a company are going to make some recording software, at least make it right! And half decent! And if you're going to make it open source, fine, but don't ditch the quality. "Oh, we're a big company and we're going to make some open source software because we're nice, but we're going to make it terrible to force people to invest in software that costs extensive amounts of money", might I add money that I don't have. Open Source pretty much just means you're getting a terrible product, but it's free so nobody cares. Making something free SHOULD NOT make the quality horrible. This is why I like smaller, independent company's, or independent coders, who make epic software for a profit, at a good price! Seriously, it's ridiculous.

However, let's get into Gaming News! Which is why I decided to write today.
I recently heard that Nintendo are making a new console (hopefully MUCH better than the Wii!), the Wii U. Seriously...? The Wii was terrible, the on-line game-play was terrible, the on-line mainframe was also terribly designed. But, at least it can't get worse. I have to say, though, I look forward to seeing it and checking it out for myself. It could be interesting.
As for Sony, the PS Vita is looking pretty sweet, but at £230 I am really not interested. My PS3 cost less than that, probably, but I am certainly not prepared to pay that. It looks good, but the money just doesn't seem worth it. Hand Held consoles usually phase out after a short amount of time, and I really don't want to spend money on something I will use for literally 3 weeks, and yes, I do mean literally.

Still, it's nice to see some activity finally, even though development of games for the older systems will stop and we will be forced to spend more money on the new ones. Never mind!

That's all I have to say, really.
Watch out for my Half-Life play through that I will record eventually.

Stupidity, or poilitcal gone mad?

I had to post this now, since I'll forget later and I found this amusing. I was making this account, and I saw this as I was creating. I couldn't help but laugh, what category is other? Seriously? "Oh, I'm half way through a sex change and my gender is unknown", it doesn't make too much sense overall. But, that also got me thinking, is this political correctness? Okay, everyone has a right to define themselves, I am male and clearly I see myself as so, obviously there's people out there who feel like they're trapped in the opposite gender and that is absolutely fine, but what about other? "I feel I am genderless" just doesn't make sense in my mind. Perhaps it means Canadian? But, whatever, is this just political correctness gone mad? People have a right to be a male woman, or a female man, I just don't get it. You're a male, or you're a female, and that's that. There really isn't any other option. I don't discriminate, but that is just stupid.

I don't know what you guys think, but feel free to tell me in the comments below, spread the hilarity! It's pretty stupid to be honest.

And because I really want people to check out my YouTube:

That's about it.
Run along and spread the joy!

Introduction to myself

Well, I guess it's probably a good plan to start with how I got here, which shouldn't take too long. I have opinions, and I like to write. Well, I like to write my opinions and ideas and get feedback from people, and my status' on facebook are usually hilarious and topically at the same time... This was by a third party, not me! I wouldn't judge myself in that way, of course... I've gone by the on-line alias of "Scuba" for a couple of years now, and I don't intend to change it. Anyway, I'm going off course! I got here through a friend, not 10 minutes ago we were talking and he stole one of my status', since he found it humorous, so I thought "It's about damn time I made a blog!", and that's why I'm here right now, writing to all you.. One of you... Actually, there's probably nobody going to read this just after I write it. I hope that I'll get some readers! Don't know many people that read blogs, but nevertheless if this blog DOES become popular people will read this and realise how it started!

I'll start off with a bit of background information about me, in case anyone wants to know! However this is doubtful. I'll at least tell you who I am!
Name: Steven, but you may refer to me as Scuba
Age: Currently 16, will be 17 on the 14th of May
Favourite Music: I guess I can't answer this, there's just so much I listen to! Skrillex, the most mainstream of my music listening habits. But I have a big range! I do enjoy Basement Jaxx a lot.
Films and Television programmes: Hm... I do enjoy humour! Lots of humour, and most of the time quite crude and vile in some peoples eyes! Mrs. Browns Boy's is always a good program to watch, I find it funny anyhow! I enjoy Family Guy occasionally, but I don't watch too much T.V. As for films, well, not too much of that either. If I had to pick, I would probably pick Meet the Fockers, that was brilliant!
Games: A subject I can relate too! SKYRIM! Oh boy, got to love Skyrim... Zombie games are always fun, too, Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead, that kind of stuff. I love Portal! Both of them, a lot. It's quite funny, actually, I played the second before the first, so the story was strangely delivered, but it was awesome! I use steam quite a bit for games, but also PS3, and no, I refuse to join the "Xbox vs PS3" argument, so do not ask me that.

I guess that's about it... I'm not too interesting! I got involved a lot on-line about 3 years ago, when I was 13, I started broadcasting on a site called BlogTV, I didn't go under the name "Scuba" there to start, but asked to be called that name after a short while. I gained a large group of friends there, and that's when I started to get to know people! I had a YouTube a few years ago too, that I made comedy sketches on, back when I was a small boy. Good times, eh? But, now I make gaming videos on the account "FYIitsnotme", but you guys all know it is me! Oh the hilarity! It's not actually that funny, I'm a terrible comic. Mental note; don't become a comedian...

And as everyone knows:
Famous Blogger > Celebrity
Celebrity > Famous Blogger

I can always hope!

P.S: My next blog will be topical, probably later today, I just didn't want to make this blog too long.
